ive just bought a 350 litre flat to go in my ford ranger pick up,
hows the best way to fit it?
i just bought two anchor posts to put ratchets onto but need to drill them into floor?
any help would be much appreciated!

Doc,  i woouuld have thought the best way would be to have it up against the bulkhead behind
the cab then use a couple of heavy duty straps - that way it's not gonna move or slide anywhere

i know a guy with 250 ltr upright  tank inside a wee citroen van fixed with a couple of bungees .sorry but seen a council ranger today with big toolbox safe in back,i would look up how that is done but angle iron is cheap bolted to floor fixed with ratchet straps  then it wont move unless u crash but hopefully u will be safe in cab.have mines bolted around chassiss.

if you have any metal fabrication places in your area get them to weld them anchor points to your floor for you if your van is empty and its all ready for them they shouldn't charge much

I have a mitsi L200 for the past few years with a 350ltr.  upright tank in the back. Its been strapped in with one heavy duty ratchet strap fixed at either end of the S hook ends to  D ring points on the upper sides of the rear cab.
Tank has never ever budged - whether empty or full.
Its placed right up against the rear bulkhead and is a good snug fit between the wheel arches. I wouldn't drill hol;es in the floor though.
 You could alternatively place tank tight to rear bulkhead and between wheel arches and  put a cross member brace of mild flat steel accross it and in turn fix this brace to  frame / points on the ' walls ' of internal cab. ( obviously not going thru.  ! )

i will  have to have another look at how my back of the pickup but mine had a massive solid box on the back so theres no clips on the inside.
