hiya mate best and cheapest option to clean is using a cat ladder and harness use a pressure washers and clean from top downwards so you dont get water up the tile!! there is quite good money to be made id say around 8-10quid per square metre, on  typica 3 bed semi (around 60m2) this would bring in between 480-600 not bad for two men for one day but i would include a fungal bicide spray with that to deter any lichen and moss growing back

wicked reply mate thanks - so getting a roof ladder and scrapping off would be no good ?
if this way was achievable it might be ok for 2 years do you think?

i can tell you he has already been quoted 2000 quid with cleaning the gutters as well.

are you talking about the ladder that hooks over the roof ridge tiles? then jet wash down, which makes sense. the lichen spray how do apply that?  :)

yeah dead simple mate depending on the pitch of the roof ya may find ya can walk across it and jet wash i do know there is a product you can spray on that kills all the moss etc over a period of time and cleans your roof, as for the biocide sprayer ya can just get one of them weedkiller back packs with pump action handle from b n q
