Squeegee Rubbers Hard or Soft?
« on: November 16, 2010, 08:35:51 pm »
Now the weather is getting colder should i be using a harder rubber for the squeegee ?

I'm currently using a Unger squeegee with a soft rubber and it seems to be missing a little
on the colder glass.

Thanks..

I think the rule is - soft in winter, hard in summer.

Soft this time of year. I think Ettore is the best, especially during the colder months.
Your rubber might need changing.

They are cheap enough, buy a couple and try them. I use soft all the time.

Years ago on this forum great debates raged about hard/soft rubbers and the benefits of different brands. If you go back far enough you might still find some of them.
