  finally bought my domain and hosting a few mins ago, any tips or tricks to make my site stand out from the rest? as i dont have any transport i thought it would be ideal to spend time on the website to gain more customers, am i doing the right thing?  :

Focus on getting the seo and optimization done right doesn't matter how good it looks or worded if people can't find it its not going to bring in custom.

ant  it will take a while for you to get custy from ur web site,  as then need to get ranked,

i know how to get top 5 in ten mins thats easy, done it with past websites etc, a little trick i learn when building sites. just dont know what i need to put on the site im stuck.

I would not put prices up. And if you did I would only put from, not to. May cause you some problems.

I also know Hertford, if it's the one in Hertfordshire, you are also too cheap in my opinion.

your to cheap and i personaly wouldn't bother sticking prices up if you want them to have an idea use a quote calculater..

as said above ,dont  the prices . otherwise you will get stung by an old salt and you will be knackered for little money

 you need to be able to price high on the phone if you sense trouble

How come frames aren't cleaned regularly when you clean the windows???

"Most window cleaners don't clean the front door" - not true in my opinion; especially wfp users.

"Sills are cleaned for free" - not really a selling point as almost all do that anyway; a bit like advertising " free quotes"

trick to get top 10 in google is make blogs of ya business and a you tube video, google and youtube communicate all the time and soon as a video pops up on youtube google lists it on its index depending on the tags you put on your video. also the same with blogs  blogger.com is  a good one blogspot.com is another good site but the best is youtube. im not saying if you type in window cleaner you will be in the top 10 or 100 but if you typed in window cleaner in manchester and thats what you put in your video you will come up in top 3 prob. i did it with my computer business yrs ago and got ranked 5th in 20 mins. also post links on other websites or add your website link in your signatures coz that spiders off to your site and links its that way aswell, just join up forums and post with your link lol  i didnt say that bit tho lol

i wanted my site to look pro but that will do, it says what i do and everything ppl need to know. going to get some vista print cards done out and put business cards in letter boxes which have lots of windows to direct them to my site.
