Do you run a referral scheme?
« on: November 13, 2010, 02:25:45 pm »
Hello,

I offer my customers a free clean, or a bottle of wine for each customer they send me *friends and family etc*

If i catch the customer in when i do their clean, i include a mention of the scheme as part of the usual chat i have with each customer. Haven't scored any new customers just yet, but i only started a week or so ago so i guess it takes a while for customers to chat to their family. Im hoping it proves to be a fairly cheap way of getting 1 or 2 new customers a month, and hopefully as i get more customers, it should produce some sort of snowball effect?

do you do anything similar? Do you mind sharing?

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Yes!
I offer a percentage £5 minimum and insist that the New customer is a regular customer not a “one off”

The reason I do this is because your customer could be a £50 and your new/referral could be only £5, could end up doing a lot of cleaning for little money.   ;)

IMO dont offer free cleans!!!!
Offer a free bottle of wine.
Cheaper than a free clean and its amazing what people will do for a bottle!!!!!
one customer of mine has given me 15 referrals all regular customers now. He loves his wine!
Just make sure you do a good job on everyones windows!!

I have a refferal scheme going, mines a bit different. Here's how mine works.........
You happy with the job and you like it?
Custy  Yeah !
Well i may not be able to do it much longer unless i get a few more customers here as its not worth my while. Maybe you could have a word with some of your neighbours who are never in when i knock?

Beats the poop out of free cleans and wine anyday !!!!
