Is there a rule of thumb on cladding cleaning?

Hi Guys!

Like say how many square metres you can do a hour?

- WFP
- WFP hot water
- Power washer
- Power washer hot water

and so on, if there is more options?

 I HAVE AN HOURLY RATE WHEN I PRICE ANY JOB,OOPS

i simply assess how long i think it will take me and price it accordingly,

Then wash it well with wfp.

Washing down cladding is pretty quick,  i use WFP and fan jets, this cleans out the ridges really well,
a 1/2 cladded semi with a couple of windows takes around 15/20 mins - if its a difficualt to reach area or heavily solied
then it's around 30/35 mins

Are you talking about domestic or commercial?

On a big commercial job, I would recommend pressure washing from a cherry picker, your arms would be dropping off if you were to clean something the size of one of the ones we did a few months ago.

Nice job Andy, How do you go about pricing a job like that up? Is it a price per square meter or do you just estimate how long it will take - so many days at x amount per day + cherry picker hire.  ???

Nice.

Upvc comes up better than the metal cladding with wfp for sure.

On the pressure washing side, we use about 2000 psi on a split lance so that you can alter the pressure as necessary.  The price depends on the size of the job to be honest and what we think the customer will pay.

Its a commercial job, not as big as the pic you showed us, but a couple of days of work :)
