Im still using 1/2 inch hose as it came with my 2nd hand set up but want to change it for something easier to handle and to have more on the reel, any suggestions?

don't do what I did {100m on reel that is barely big enough}, unless it is wound on perfectly then it slips off almost every time you start to unwind again at the next job. Go for a quality, larger reel and you will find life much easier.

Same here only I use www.wintecs.co.uk and it's free postage on everything
also get a big solid metal reel as already stated
I mainly do domestic customers and 50 meters is all I have ever used
(Tip; buy 100 meters sell 50 meters on Ebay) works out cheaper in the end

i got 2 reels one is metal and screwed down in van the other is plastic and gets used either side of the van,  both have 6mm wintecs own hose and never had and problems

Any of the metal hosereels on offer will do, if you want to go top of the line, have a look at Gardiners website.

Also, I have 100m of minibore, and I frequently use all of it on domestics.
