Marcus, do you still have to pay your employee on a day like this?

wet n windy in somerset

going to have the day putting together a letter for the gutter cleaning ,and then stat to send it out along with my flyer to the local nursing homes and blocks of flats ect in my area

when i look around there are so many full gutters all that work , but even on a day like today with high winds, we would not be able to clean them out.

wanted to put a small box advert in our local paper this week , drew it up and went in and they wanted £70 + vat for one week 2.5cm X5cm  they must be having a laugh so i am now looking at having my flyers delivered £25 per thousand to the post codes of my choice

Andy, have you played with your vac yet?
Had mine delivered the other day, seems ok for the money but haven't used it yet.

Well I've got a regular shop to go and do in a minute.
It's in walking distance so I tend to walk it as it's a real hassle parking in the town centre.
Then a stroll to the janitorial shop as there are a few bits I want to order.
Then I'll see what the weather is doing when those tasks are completed.
Rain I will do up to moderate/heavyish.
High winds or very heavy rain, I won't.

Trad or pole. Ya mad working in this. Its appalling in Surrey. Not so much raining hard, but the wind is incredible.

Just looked outside and spotted a trad wc going up a ladder :o

It's not so much the rain here, just the wind gusting.
