rain guar and payment
« on: October 30, 2010, 03:56:39 pm »
i am using some ones rain guarantee that was put up ehre the other day and have changed a few things to include new payment ways,  what do u lot think of it as  i will be changing a lot after xmas

Dear Customer - a note from your window cleaner

So that we keep your panes and frames gleaming we provide a regular service and keep to a reasonably predictable schedule; however it can be a bit of a juggling act getting the balance between arriving on time and not cleaning in really bad weather.

To preserve schedules we clean in drizzly and showery conditions too. Please be assured that the purified water system contains no soapy residues - and this means your windows will remain clean despite squally showers that may land on the glass during the cleaning and allowing to dry process.

However in the rare event that you feel the rain has marked any of your glass then please do not hesitate to call us back and we will clean the offending window(s) again free of charge.

We will also be offering online payments and cheques payment service (we will provide a SAE) to all customers, this is to help reduce running costs thus not having to increase what we charge you for the service we provide.

Your sincerely

Dave Willis

No mention of how long the guarantee runs. Three weeks later "hello my windows are filthy - it must be because you cleaned them in the rain all those weeks ago!"

Yes that was "my" guarantee except I had "call us back within 24 hours of the original clean" in paragraph 3.
It's a game of three halves!

Can I have your rain guarantee please Malc?

So if it rains and I get a call, you have to go and do them again.
