Velcro, what a rip off.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

here's a tip for you, when you get the velcro stitch some strong nylon straps about 15mm wide and around 12" - 15" long to the middle of the velcro to make like a T-shape, attach a connector, like the ones that go onto a dog lead to the end and then you just wrap the velcro around the vac and sol hose together and loop the nylon strap around the top bannister when your working upstairs. if no banister, use a door handle or whatever is available, i stuck the connector out or a landing window today and then shut it to hold it,

Ordered mine yesterday morning, delivered today.
Will come in handy, and you can join together to make bigger ones.

Thanks Geoff

I have had many velcro devices too, but they do wear out I find.
