I hate to see that sort of money going begging.
I had already made arrangements for this weekend otherwise I would have gone for it myself - in spite of the 60 mile round trip.

Gav its no good posting what most people would see as a 'long-shot' of a job at 5.30 one Saturday afternoon and expect a guy who has never met you to drop everything and jump.

Its a weekend, most guys have either got plans and dont have the desire to have to drive into the middle of London on a Saturday night and have to work through or theyve done their money for the week and would prefer to just relax for a day or two.

Youre OP wasnt exactly detail specific was it, so far as anyone reading it was concerned it might have just been a little corner shop for a tenner, hardly worth getting out of bed for.

Dont mean to critiscise, but sure you see my point mate

Hi Gav,

Is your client still in need?

Can pop into town with any resources at the drop of a scrim.

i had very little details to post was contacted
by the company as a last resort , job was going to be done
but due to unforseen circumstances had to pull out
due to me getting the call which was like can you please help
i rang around a load of wc in london myself as well as the guy
to say its very late in the day to get sum one there
i was never intending to do this job
or make a penny fr the job i was just passing the details
on to interested guys who could of had a good contact
and made a very reasonable ammount of money at the same time
i said if he was a 100% still in dire straits i would go and clean it
but i would want atleast 400 quid would av taken me the best
part of 3 hours travelling the guy ad estamated the job
to be approx 8 hours cleaning so it cud of been a 14 hour day
for me and a 196 mile trip there and the same back !!!!!!!

Works out at £37.50 per hour for the time you are cleaning and you get paid cash on the day! Sounds brilliant to me but saying that im a poor northener....  ;)  ;D

Hi Gav,
This is not for you to worry about unless you have sat on the job or details of it, it can not be down to you.
You made the post at 5.30 yesterday evening for a job that had to be done last night.
My initial thoughts were whoever was in charge of instructing a window cleaner had cocked up. The other thing was how many guys come on here on a Saturday night that drop their plans for 300 nicker. (advertise this again now for next Saturday evening and I'm sure there would be loads going for it.)
There is no way this reflects badly on you though
Lee
