Think if it were for a local service, local landline number or 0800, as long as I knew the address.  Would not call 0870 or 0845. Anything or a 0845 those kind of numbers I use a site which you can search for the 01 or 02 number

you have mail mate  ;)

for residential work i would just use norm landline (home number).

you could just use it as a answer phone service if you aint keen on having to answer the phone at home when not working ...

im not bothered about anwsering the phone at home its just im looking to cover a large area and think a none local number would be better plus you can get 0800/0845 numbers diverted to you mobile for next to nothing.

no but I would not phone the 0800/0845 either, I am sure there is ways of getting local numbers from other areas directed back to you

i have an 0800 number, it came with the business, costs me pennys to have, and looks professional. i would have a mobile no as well to offer, that way they have a choice, as they get charged if they call from a mobile.
