Paul how much do you normally charge mate? go along those lines and maybe work a helper into the equasion mate to get the job done .

Like everyone has said, it'll take longer than you think.

If the legs and frame work is made of wood, give them a wipe down after you hwe each chair.

I like the fact how everyone starts shooting high prices on here :) I mean really?? Pintch of salt springs to mind!!
 
Its ok if you have no competion in your town or your only competion is Chempoope or a fast traker. But realistically, if you "want" the commercial work your prices sound about right. I'd even knock a 10er off the total.

80 x std chairs ( seat base and half back )

I've just quoted much the same, along with the carpet at the same place.
I'm 99% sure I won't get it even at £2.50 each, but then this is brain numbing back aching work so I'm not too bothered.

Line them all up and do them with a rotary, I hear there quite quick at cleaning ;)
