Not me. As a die-hard newbie i reckon the ice will get me more respect, more demand & of course more dough as people will see me as not "just another fly-by-night".

IT was -2 last night here, a bit further north it was snowing and there was a thick frost on the windscreen this morning, I wore gloves for the first hour this morning and even had my hat on for a while

Its simple economics really, if you are in business and have to earn a wage you work in all weathers all year round !

If however you are claiming benefits and decide to a bit on the side ie window cleaning you can take the winter months off  ;D

Last year wasn't bad. Ok a bit of snow but otherwise I didn't find it too much of a problem. Its a question of having the right clothes and getting your kit sorted out.

I think many have forgotten how bad it was for many w/c...many were on here screaming about not being able to work....

I remember it clearly...it was bad and no amount of kit preparation will stop the water freezing on the glass.

Not trying to put a downer on it but not trying to 'under cook' it either.

Cheers
Dave.

a lot of the newbies tend to be Don Henleys  and come the cold they tend to look for warmer pastures in factories and warehouses and supermarkets.

but rest assured come the spring they will return  :D

I had the right clothes ok- shorts and t-shirt. And the right kit-cental heating on, the fire on and remote control at my side  8).
