WFP TOP TIP!
« on: October 19, 2010, 03:08:13 pm »
If you use a tap on your belt, make sure it is switched off before connecting water supply!

I did this today and got one leg of my trousers soaked. Doh!! (I connected supply before connecting pole hose)

I recently switched from pole tap cos the loop in the pole hose was forever getting twisted or caught on something. After my initial problem of not having the tap off, I find that the tap on my belt is a lot better.

Till the tap wears a bit and starts leaking.

i only use the aqua daptor on my sl-x for commercail jobs, but for domestic, put a micro tap from gardiners, at the brush head, and remote control on the backpack, best combination, i love it

Don't use a tap on a belt as when the connection is worn and old or you'll end up with a wet leg plus you have to drag the hose around a property tied to your belt-No Thank-you very much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Use a tap on pole or aqua dapter or trigger

have bought pole taps on my original poles - at first great but then as already said in thread here the bloddy hose twists and the loop is a pain in the arse and makes for lots of eventual knotting.

just bought a clx from gardiners and trying an isolatar type valve with mini lever on the pole hose see how that goes - if not will consider one on belt or aqua adaptewr type.

just got them foamy ball things from gardiners as well, to help protect the rectus 21 fitting as my old one leaks like bugger now.
