If I remember right, when I used to use Vikans I had to saw about 15mm off the socket! And that’s what you call progress, winproclean. How much time went into the development of that brush, LOLGive you a tip buy the Vikan broom socket and it works perfectly, the problem you will encounter, it does cost a whopping £1.40. (Opposed to the cheap 25p socket Gardiner’s use) How much did you pay for that brush? LOLThere you go I just did the so called development (problems) with that brush (and it took me 1 minute)No hack sawing, gluing or re-threading needed. LOL

CIU is full of threads about Gardiner’s equipment breaking or wearing very quickly. And you will find someone like winproclean often jumping into a thread praising Gardiner’s countering the negative comment. I think winproclean and just a few others are taking the members of this forum for fools.

Screw the brush head onto a metal threaded connection so it cuts the plastic thread easier than plastic on plastic would.
