I AM IN LEICESTERSHIRE AND AM LOOKING TO START UP IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.

THANKS,

unless your not a real cleaner and do it for dole money and for buying roll ups , then 3-5 a window is mimimum you should charge, and make sure you are not cleaning out of a car especially not a mondeo or you cannot ever post on here again

seriously though

about £1 a unit is good enough for compactish work, or work that isnt a million miles apart, and with ok access ... from there you will soon work out if you wanna charge more or less based on your own personal circumstances and business needs

I try not to charge per window but price per hour. It will give you a more consistent income and pricing structure altough it is more difficult to get spot on.

Accept the fact that you WILL get it wrong on some, no matter how you go about pricing them.

£1 for window and £3-5 for a bay window but i think prices vary from region and if your not getting any work your price may be to high and if your getting loads it may be time to increase those prices. ;D

I try to average £30 per hour, just priced a bungalow fronts only two average size windows and the glass front door takes about 6 min to do if that and i charged £4 the guy was very happy with the price and so was i.

Ive only got to do 8 a hour which would be easy and thats £32 per hour.

Scraping egg off window, 35 quid. Minimum price of 10 quid for any job at all, even if it's a 2 x 2 ft ticket office window. I get all my tips from the top man on here. Not sure if he is actually a window cleaner, but he knows alot about business. You must work out of a van according to him, or you don't have a business at all. Always claim your sarnies back from HMCR. If anyone shows you up for posting dross or points out that you aren't really a window polisher at all, just delete your own posts.

Pricing on Domestic work should be kept simple mate.  ;)

My house has 12 windows so at £3 - £5 per window that makes it between £36 - £60 for what is a 3 bed semi with no conservatory that takes no more than 15 minutes to clean, fair play if you can get away with it but I doubt too many can

In all fairness peter may have been to window cleaning college for 5 years or more so he deserves to be earning £3-£5 per window  ::)

i assume its minimum £5-£8 for leaded per window
