Re branding the business
« on: October 18, 2010, 11:59:21 am »
I am wanting to have a new image for the business, more inkeeping with our national works.

I have two vans (soon to be three) and three trailers - all require sign writing and I am looking to incorporate the union jack as part of the livery.

Been looking around the free clip art sites this morning and have seen a Union Jack in the shape of the UK and also a without edge rippled flag (no border).

Is there anyone on the forum that knows whether either of the styles can be gotten for free or will I have to pay for the image.

If a decent image can be downloaded for nothing, where from. Not really something I am very good at.

Has anyone got any design capabilities that would like to design a new van signage, any help at all would be great.

Not really

I saw one of their vans on the A1(M) yesterday and to be honest they look really busy, with too much detail.

I just want to keep it clean simple and straightforward - uncluttered!!

I have an idea of what I want but wouldn't know how to overlay the font that I want to use over the flag or UK image or whether I can get the images without paying.

No because that is exactly what the Dragons Den team have. I want to utilise my own letterhead (part of it) either overlaid over a flag or a union Jack image of Great Britain or a configuration of either or.

I don't care what any community thinks, mixed, black, white or any other combination my business name is my last name hyphenated and with the Uk added because I work all over the country.

No one is going to look at my van and get the idea that I am a Zeig Heiling jew beater!!
