Hi Blacksheep
You could ask them 1 for me?
ask them what are the implications of running two cleaning busineses from the same address 1 comercial vat registered and 1 domestic kept under the £58,000 threshold?
good luck and thanks in advance.

Phil,
Its the person whom is VAT registered... therefore if you have a cleaninig business as a sole trader and a currier service as well then if the total turnover eceeds the vat threshold ... thats it!! whacko on both. A limited company however is an entity in its own right so abc cleaning sevices and def currier services are ruled by there own entity. So you could have abc cleaners ltd and def sole trader curiers as seperate entities... is that as clear as mud or what...
