What to use?
« on: October 16, 2010, 05:16:55 pm »
I have just started out window cleaning these past two weeks. A few people want me to clean their frames and one person would like me to clean their cladding. What are the best products for frames and cladding? I've tried using just soapy water which makes them, from a distance, appear clean but they're not so great close up. I've heard through a friend that for the cladding one window cleaner uses the same stuff they use to clean the tops of caravans. Anyway, any tips/advice would be great.

PS. How much to you lot charge for cleaning frames (say, average price per window?)

Thanks.

I used Cif cream cleaner buy in supermarket cuts through dirt but by sure to rinse well and test on a small area first,I had no problems using it.

When I clean the windows I clean the frames as standard with my cloth when trad and brush when WFP,only cowboys cut corners, remember the frames are part of the window too!
