There is a quote from Paul Pearce right at the end of that article.

Paul Pearce, technical director of the national carpet cleaning association, said: "The performance of a vacuum cleaner has more to do with airflow than with the power rating, so it should be possible to reduce the power without affecting the cleaning perforance."

This has to be a wind up. The energy used by a vacuum cleaner is a total p1ss in the ocean. How about all the Euro Mps have to saty where they live rather than jetting off to Brussells and keeping their apartments and Mistresses warm. That's it I'm down the pub! >:( Regards Mr Angry
