Software
« on: October 15, 2010, 04:52:44 pm »
Had an e mail from alltec with some chemdry bloke called alan simmons selling carpet cleaning software.

I understand that he sells them for £2,000.00 each with ongoing monthly fees  :o Is any carpet cleaner willing to pay this amount?? wow!

Personally I think I will stick to my Cleaners Mate which is great (basically the best thing I've ever bought since starting in this industry lol).

I agree Mark. I must admit I was a bit sceptical at first but Cleaners Mate is the nearest thing to printing money legally. I reckon you're a mug if you went for the other thing first.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

I was surprised by this post

As I was with Alan a couple a weeks ago and to my surprise he was giving away a version suitable for one man band

The  full version is suitable for multi van operations with office staff etc

I was a bit peeved as we have just spent two years working on our own software intended for our own use only.
Developed by my son who is a Software  developer and usually works on
Software costing 3 million pounds
