Heres a couple of pix..... Note in the one you can see where the filters and RO were attached to ply, couple of weeks ago i set up static tank at my brother in laws (yippeee, no more metered water!!)
This van is a 1.9tdi, 105bhp, chipped to about 130bhp by myself (economy chip, didnt give any better economy, so got most of money back and chip left on). I get about 50mpg (tho trip computer is 10% optimistic. Just went from factory 15 inch to 225.50.17 and have lost 5mpg again

Tho speedo which was 10% out is now accurate, so dont think have actually lost so much mpg now. Grips so much better tho, could wheel spin easy before, even in dry, but grips a treat. Not that i am a boy racer :

Payload is 750kg, i did stick it on a weighbridge with all my kit in, and with 400 litres of water in my 650 litre upright tank i was dead on the limit front axle (before i got in) and 100kg to spare on rear. Should move tank back 6-12 inches really but prefer it up against bulkhead. Have 2 ten ton straps over, into the built in fixings, and one going left to right to minimise chance of it slipping on the platform i have to lift it up by couple of inches (helped flow to pumps). Most of my customers comment how smart the van looks (that was before sign writting done last week), and it is, the peugout expert/citroen despatch is bigger with better payload, but doesnt IMO look as smart. Overall i love this van, its powerful enough, even with up to 500 litres of water, looks the part, and so far is reliable. That being said, the dual mass flywheel is going (problem with VW's, my previous passat had the same, van has now done 60k, owned it for 2 years. Also got chrome light bars down the sides too.......

Want to put bull bars and spots on but my good lady has a stop on that one....for now!

As you can see, enough space for leisure battery, collapsible ladder, and 2 hose reels in back, along with bucket and bollards. I have 2 5ft poles from gardiners that fit in fine, wouldnt mind 6 foot but would need to cut into cabin for that to fit. So all in all, very pleased. They arent cheap, but they are fairly high up in the quality/build, and you will get a better price when sell too.
What van did you get in the end, and you got pictures of your setup too?
