Need some help pricing up the tenders we've been asked to quote for on these Housing 21 units.

You guys that are also pricing for them, what price do you put in for the external windows and what price do you put in for  the internal windows?

I priced 36 units (7 or 8 windows per unit) at £180 and was told they were getting them done for £90!

£90 is stupid money.

Dont think I'll bother pricing if thats what you have to compete against.

its bulk work for employers never profitable for a one man band but it probably pays a wage for 2 guys a day or two a week plus profit for a company

ive looked into it but usually its all that sort of price and also you need to have a big company to be considered and they want to look into your accounts etc

alot of hassle best left to big fish

im happy with big houses and small commercial

Yes Dave a unit is a flat (thats what the warden calls them!).

The guys doing them at the moment are trad and it takes 2 of them all day!
