Cleaning your street
« on: October 11, 2010, 07:08:34 pm »
Anyone do it?

i wouldnt normally but recently moved well 8 months now in a nice little cul de sac all modern houses easy to clean and window cleaner is a joker who employs two scallys who miss nearly every window and those they do "clean" look worse than before they came

anyway since one or two notice i am a windy ive been asked loads so decided i would do them for my two immediate neighbours but now everyone wants a piece :)

trouble is there really under priced and dont wanna be too expensive so going in at around £7 they have about 8-9 windows so not too bad?

hopefully it wont be bad decision, good thing is no collecting and a mornings work with no travelling :)

If you dont even have to move your van & have them all your laughing mate.

Not done it myself (neighbours) but if there asking you cant really say no can you ;)

Nice to have the neighbours on side :)

I thought so, they all seem really nice

bit of a hard one as i dont like the idea of working so close to home so there is no falling out over not paying or something but on the other hand they will think im weird if i wont do them so will give it a go

think everyone will pay fine as they seem desperate for a windy there paying this joker fortnightly however 80 % have sacked him already

My local wc is welcome to my street. £1.50 fronts only or £3 front and back. He's been doing them 18 years. Prob not increased the prices since he started them.

this is the problem this guy isnt far enough so thats why i dont wanna give em heartattack so doing just monthly at an ok price

it will be worth it if i get 10 or so though as its an easy 70 in front of my door as its a cul de sac no petrol nice lay in and all paid straight up plenty of cuppas and if winter is as bad as last time might be the only bit of work can do for a few days lol
