If it's a product fault and not user error Gardiners normally replace parts free of charge, they're very good like that. How did they clamps snap though, I've had handles go but the clamp itself, that's unusual. When you had it extended how much of the pole was overlapping on the clamp that broke?

Simon.

the clamp snapped off in the middle so half is still glued to the pole and the other half is loose on the next section!to be honest the pole was fully extended but the end stops stopped working after the first week so it was probably too extended.i think they should put a different colour on the end of the pole(like on the hydra)so you dont over extend it.

I had this happen to me only last week and I do believe it was my fault also the pole is 18months old and is not treated with kidd gloves...in fact other than washing it and wiping the pole hose after use it's just another tool thrown in the back of the van.

I sent them an email on Thursday evening begging for a replacement to be sent to me here in Holland and it arrived this morning..not bad eh?

The thing is...when something goes 'not right' contact them soonest and they will do their hardest to help...

Of all the companies that I have dealt with ...Gardiners are without doubt the best...ok sometimes you do not get free replacements but then again sometimes you do.

They are a very fair company and those of us that do buy from them should return the fairness and give them the chance to rectify any issues if they can.

This is not a pop at anyone but ...give them a chance.

Dave.

The more I know the less I know I know ...
