Yeah, don't waste your money on over rated soaps,I did once and never again,I use MORNING FRESH and it beats all window cleaning soaps for a fraction of the costs,I was gullible too once but you live and learn! ;D

I use washing liquid (supermarket own brand). That way, you dont just get a bucket full of soap bubbles.
The pen is mightier than the sword (and a lot easier to write with!)

I've used

Fairy
ecover
Stardrops
Unger liquid
GG3
GG4
squeegee off

Never will I use fairy again! The unger liquid is very strange stuff, leaves a white smear on some types of glass! ::)

The GG's do make the glass gleam but don't offer enough slip at the recommended dosage.

After lots of trial & error I find the best overall solution is squeegee off with 5mm of GG3/4 added, you get good slip with a superb gleaming finnish. ;)

I've done that myself too Franky & to honest I found it ok. Just need a drop, just enough to get some slip. I hate using fairy on it's own though.

I premix washing up liquid  & water in one container and squeegee off & water in another container then mix equal parts of each into bucket. Nice shine and slip.

i use W5 from LIDL . not the concentrated ,just the regular w5 . good slip  i have found

i also use only rainwater as it leaves no marks /  i found the tap hardwater in my area left marks. also the rainwater feels great on my hands .

don't want to sound like a pansy but squeege off makes the skin on my hands very dry to the point that
somtimes the skin can start to peels off on the finger tips but i think thats due to me using to much ???

who knows but its great for windows i wouldn't waste my money on unger again used it once didn,t like it but each to their own ;D
