This is a joke right?

You have answered all your questions yourself.

Young lads.....£30 per day.......cash in hand.

I am sorry but I have no sympathy for you. 30 quid for an 8 hour day!!! thats only £3.75 an hour, even cash in the hand thats crap money.
I pay my 12 year old more than that.

If you want someone to treat you and your business properly you have to lead by example.

Give them some respect.

unless you can offer someone a full time job it is difficult to hold on to casual staff agreed....But even so I pay £50 a day as soon as someone starts with me even if they havenever touched a squeegee before, and they dont have to do ladders as we have wfp.
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.

you pay them £30 a day  :o you will wake up one day to find all your work has vanished.

sounds like a classic case running around like a head less chicken for under priced work.

or david coats is actualy the tax man trying to catch people out  ::)
