Im traditional and i was thinking the money will come from there maintence fund so could i push it up alittle,i do gardening to and they want a quote for the grass, so it could be a handy bit of money and it's very local to.

why do you wanna rip a school off for ?     are you that desperate for more stella ?

you see a REAL window cleaner would price the job for what its worth  not what he/she could milk it for

I think some of you have got me a bit wrong im not trying to rip off the school but im dont want to do myself TBH ive never been that good at pricing and i never aim for £30 ph so i dont think im ripping anyone off, Ive decided £20 i think that a fair price i reckon they will take me an hour.Im not a greedy man just want to be fair to the customer and myself.

The reason i asked this question is im not that good at pricing, i have always got the feeling that people expect windows to be cheaper than i charge, i try to aim for a £1 per window sometimes alittle more if a window has lots of panes.

Would you call my pricing milking it? but i think the suggestion of £15 was a bit low.

I'm afraid thats called milking,  knowing what the price is but deliberately putting the price up because you think they will still pay it

Well the first price i had in mind was £20 so thats what im going to quote, like i said i reckon it will take me an hour so i think that fair enough. As for milking that could be the start of a good debate i bet many members on here would charge more for example for a 3 bed house in the posh part of town than they would on a council estate i may start a poll later.

Its not a question of being greedy, its about running a profitable business! Do you only think of your hourly wage or do you think of cost of running a business?

For the amount of windows and doors I assume for just external clean would be £25.00.

And this is a fare price.
