Im going to try and put some perspective on this.
I understand what Richard is saying. As sales people do you think we do something for nothing, please have some respect. Im trying to help two perspective clients source data. I do that because I want to help - because its part of my service, Its my job and has been for 20 years,, and I want to ensure that they stay with me, I want to make their lives as simple as possible, they get on with what they do best, and I get on with what I know best.
Your not going to get somebody "just canvass" unless you put the time and effort into knowing that person. Its just not as simple as that.
Were not robots, I have to know and speak to the people that I work with, I need to know what they want to achieve, what areas, what work
Canvassers arent robots, they need to know who they are working for, and what you expect from them
You meet, discuss, and find out. Like you would do with any other job
Its really not about employing somebody to canvass you. Go and meet them, talk to them, see how they are. personality wise. Trouble is here you want a tried and tested method. Take people on their own abilities to do something.
Going to say I would employ Richard, hes got spirit, hes 17, and willing to give it a go, good on you Richard
Please remember if your engaging canvassers or telesales people "too busy" dosent work
If you want a dedicated campaign you have to commit, days, hours, etc.
You just have to meet them, outsourcing is very tricky , ask for results, ask to see who they have worked for.
Ask what the contract is, it goes on foreever
