just got round to setting up my aqua dapter...
« on: September 21, 2010, 08:49:24 pm »
well that hurt!!  :'(

my clx arrived, opened the box and had to cut it to fit the aqua dapter, really nice pole and i was worried when i got a saw to it!

but all is good, fitted the aqua dapter and seems to work really well! needs a good testing out in the battle field.

i bet loads of you guys that have got one didnt notice the very small white tube in the packaging - it fits in the tip of the pole hose to strengthen the connection between the pole hose and aqua dapter - simply little thing but seems to make the difference a little.

loving the clx, i think the clx is gonna be the new slx.

only small prob i had - the self shrink tape that came with the aqua dapter didnt really fit the clx, so i just used some tape i had around, think i would have rather have tape with it than the clear heat shrink tape ...

Hi,

If you drop us an email I'll send some of the vinyl strips through for you.

Would never cut a pole.trigger everytime.
Not saying aquadaptor isn't.a good.idea.but I think triggers work great 4 me.

i see what you are saying but know ive done it - its no biggy.

aqua dapter works really well, its a good bit of kit - yes not cheap but its really well built and im sure ill make the investment back in no time.

like you said triggers work for you - so its just down to what ever works best for each wc and im sure the aqua dapter in years to come will be on alot of poles....

Hi Joe,

paul. i thought you stoped using the strips, you send me clear heat shrink, which i thought was a good idea,

For some poles it's great, but it's not as versatile as the vinyl strips, which is why we're still using those too, as there are so many different types of pole customers are using.
