Hunter vacs

Whilst on the subject of Argos I see the Hunter Vac (as we used to know it) is being sold under the dirt devil name at argos for £49.99
That's a bit of a difference from the £99 or so some suppliers were knocking them out at a few years back :o

Never seen one advertised for £99 ever. Who were selling them for that?

It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

We could do with more add ons to sell where we can make a genuine fair profit . Not like the Hunter as they turned up in supermarkets at £20 straight away.

They have a tendency to clog up too b/c whatever you tell 'em they don't give them a tap every now and then. Had a spate of calls on repairs and thought just stick to cleaning carpets for the sake of a tenner profit.

Makes you wonder what the actual retail price of these are at source?
I bought mine through Somerfields some years ago for £20 or thereabouts, but it clearly all depends on who is putting their sticker on the front of things.

Neil, I can tell you that some years ago I bought a wrist blood pressure monitor for £29.99, they are available now for around £12 to £20. I put the serial number into Google and was directed to a Chinese website that was offering them for, get this, THIRTY PENCE each, but you had to buy a minimum of fifty and the shipping was free, then you have to add on import duty and VAT, so you do the math.
