When you employ I understand that you should have employee liability and that it is way more expensive than owner-operator. But what about N.I. and tax? And if you employ someone else do you have to do PAYE for yourself or can you still be self-employed. Do you need to be a Director?Anything else I've missed like hols and sickness etc.?

True enough, but if you are on the cards I always thought it was a given, if it wasn't Id know the person employing wasnt worth working for.

I also have a nice little option on about £800 worth of work that I can add into the mix.
