The lightest wand there is Prochem Ti wand, I have one and it is very light, some how don't know why but it dries carpet faster than my Duraclean/westpak and that had the same spec.

The best wand in the world is a WiFi wand where you don't need to attach any hoses ;D

PS Thanks Dave ;)

How do you rate the evolution? Currently using a wonder wand but not getting on too well with it....also looking for recommendations.

sarah the evo wand is nice and light to use but i thinks its cheaply made, it marks up really easy and overspray can be a bit of a problem with it. i brought it for my sister who works for me as its nice and light.
Sean - yes the prochem ti wand looks amazing and im going down prochem to have a look and maybe buy one, but the price tag is a bit steep. the new stryker wand looks good but i reckon the small holes used for the jetless flow will constantly get blocked!!
mike - yes i have 3 wands but im a sucker for buying new stuff and when i get a impulse to buy something i cant stop  ;).

Sarah,

I have an evolution wand.  Very light, great glide (and I don't like glides) and very impressive even spray from the SIX jets across its wide track.

However - the jets get blocked quickly and with 6 of them it usually means 2 or 3 blocked at a time so a pain in mid-job.  It is very long (longer than the Prochem TM wands) so I only use it when I need to which means commercial jobs.

Luc and Slioch, thanks for your replies. Has anyone else used a wonder wand? What are your opinions on them?

I used a Wonderwand with the CFR500 I had. Perfect match. Great results.

Used it on a different machine and didnt particularly like it - dont understand why.

Looks like my old Bane wand, only thing missing is the heat shield that stops over spray, Luc they make a rip off Ti wand with a Titanium head and Stainless shaft, I think they are about half the price of Prochems.

I'll see if I can find a link.

With Joe Bristows high shear kit not getting allot of over spray if any.

Think it was about $550 Delivered 14" 5 jet version but it needs a real glide.

joebristor@earthlink.net for price.

Only had it three months so early days but light as a feather and favour it over the greenhorn at moment.
