I wonder if anyone is able to help?

I have a RO-Man 300gpd RO System... Yesterday (Sunday) afternoon I replaced all membranes and filters and filled the DI vessel with new resin.

It has been producing water today and was producing 000 this morning, I've just checked it again and its now reading 002  :

Does anyone know why this could be? Should I replace the actual DI Vessel to?

Have you checked the hoses to make sure you haven't connected the waste to the DI vessel?

only change the resin inside mate.....but if ya going to change vessel also,let me know were ya live & ill get the vessel out ya bin mate...LOL

Was ya resin old or used mate?
Check your ro output etc.......
But sounds to me that the resin is just about used up dude

I've just noticed that the little sponge ring within the DI cartridge has "floated" to the middle, very odd 

I reckon its a problem with the cartridge? I've got a spare one somewhere so I'll try that!

Two things:

If your membranes are brand new then they may take a 25 litres or so to "settle down". If their initial output has run through the resin chamber (ie not diverted for half an hour or so at start up) it can "eat" resin quite quickly.

More likely - if the sponge plug thing is floating then you may not have reassembled it properly. Look for "pinched" O rings at the top or unclipped plastic circle things etc.

Here's how I do mine -

Sponge circle in bottom pressed down.
Fill inner cylinder with resin
Clip in any top plastic circle or plug thingy
Press on inner cylinder chamber top
Wipe away any stray resin beads carefully
If you have two rubber O rings at the top of the inner cylinder they sometimes get pinched flat and leak water and resin through - so when I refill I put the O rings in hot boiling water to soften them up and let them regain shape before putting back in.
