was doing a house yesterday for the first time, that had not been cleaned for 3 months when a other wc stopped going, he was wfp,   when i was doing it there was loads of white water runs coming off the windows,  what is this, as usually it is gone after a few minutes, but this was on for ages,   when i wipe my finger on the plastic my finger turns white, and the custy was saying that the previous owner had the windows sprayed with something

the previous wc ended up doing them trad as this was a  problem to him,  i dont think he was a very good wc as i have took a lot of his custys

any ideas,  as really dont want to trad this job

If you give the frames a damn good scrub and a hell of an OTT rinse the following visit try to keep scrubbing the frames to a minimum. Water just running over the frames shouldnt agitate the powder, only scrubbing will. Keep your brush-head on the glass and refrain from the frames; if you do scrub the frames keep it to a simple maintenance pressure, and rinse well.

just knuckle down ,get out yer squeegee  and plough on !

its what they call bleeding frames,   usually a good clean of the frames especially down the inside channels followed by a good rinse and then clean glass and rinse will usually cure this problem,     although some may just need a further rinse a couple of mins later to be extra sure.

I find this too especially on newbies. As previous poster said give frames a good scrub and rinse first time then thereafter don't touch the rames.

lol i only took the ones that asked for a price, a lot moved as they dont know when he was going to turn up,   i dont mind losing custy if i am doing a crap job,  but its when you get undercut by someone stupidly that annoys me,  like £6 being cut down to £4,   there is just a lot of really cheap wc where i live, get a lot start up undercut the prices and then sod off as they aint making money, as they get more on the dole

i had this on a new custy so asked him if he had put any thing on them he told me he used a PVC cleaner i asked him if he stop using  it and all is fine now .

get up the ladder and trad them or use a trad pole if dangerous.


or you could just avoid the top frame and be careful when rinsing?if its really bad then get your squeegy out and price higher or pass up the job.
