I have the 7, 18 & 25 hydra alloy poles... find the 25 on the heavy side to use regular... good job i only use it on the odd window a few times each day. To be honest if i was you i would look at a carbon fibre pole or maybe a hybrid

I use 25ft one though I've just taken delivery of a Gardiners SLX 30ft which is very light compared to Brodex.

bought them last xmas and got a great deal for the 31ft with the 7ft free of charge!

good price for a good pole.

many thanks 4 all that.   the brodex site seems to say the 31ft only weighs 3.3 kg  so i dont see how it can seem heavy even at full stretch , im using a 24ft gardiners fg pole i got aout 5yrs ago n thats heavy

It would be if you had to reach over a big conservatory

totally agree, 3.3kg over the length of pole and with a brick of a brush head would be like lifting a black sack half full of water at the end of a lite pole

For the occasional very high window I bought a 36ft aluminium pole from Brodex. I really wish I hadn't as it weighs a flipping ton at full extent. If I had to use it every day I'd be built like the proverbial outhouse... I reckon aluminium poles are OK upto about 25 feet but above that you'd better go to the gym pretty often!
