So no-one has picked up on the fact that this guy is 36' up working on a 2' ledge with no H&S considerations?

Could well have been ;D

Whenever a tumbler complained that it wasn't safe, the stock answer was: "Wassa marrer with yer? I could ride a bike round that!!"

The real danger is that those sort of ledges tend to be made of cement with no re-inforcing rods, so break without any warning.  I've been walking lop-sided since 1977 ::)

The guy in the pic is actually this guy, in this youtube video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veeGqZ8jYF0

I know he sounds like a right twot in the video and funnily enough he knows it too, he didnt give 2 hoots about that ledge. Rather him than me. Beware swearing in video.

He holds the world record for the lowest BASE jump performed inside a building.

Quote
# In 1990 Russell Powell (British) BASE 230 illegally jumped from the Whispering Gallery inside St Paul's Cathedral London. It was the lowest indoor BASE Jump in the world.
