SLX BLACK DUST

My slx has just started to give off black dust, whats the best thing i can apply to it?
Im sure ive heard ppl say apply silcon spray, is this correct?

Paul I find with my fishing poles that if I add anything like silicon or grease of some sort the carbon dust mixes with the silicon or grease and can cause the section to jam.

I get it on my SLX mate, I don't worry about it. just wash my hands afterwards.

I used to do it, but it seems to form a kind of grinding paste.  Just wash the insides and outsides of the pole regularly and it's not too much of a problem.

I am running the Leicester round and Susan is keeping tabs on the round down in Essex, I go up to Leicester every other week and down in Essex the other weeks.
I have officially moved back up to Leicester but commute to Essex to clean as Susan is expecting the little'en in November.
