as its a hard water area i dont think it really matters how high the tds of the water is - all i know it will prob be high and around the 300 odd mark - so ro will be needed for that mate.

best thing is to order a tds meter, gonna need one anyway - only around £15 inc vat & del ....

A friend of mine is a window-cleaner down there, he only uses D.I resin to sort his water out. I seem to remember he says its about 70.

I live in exeter and torqauy isn't very far from me. Here in devon we are a soft water area.
