Can anyone suggest a good insurance company for both commercial and domestic work. Also looking to cover TM and equipment.

Hi Sarah, try 'Polished Insurance' - they advertise on here.  They cover all my insurance including TM + kit at a very reasonable price. Pete

I've done some phoning around and it would seem that Polished Insurance is by far the most competative for what I need.

Thanks  :)

they are my current insurers. price is great but that's the easy part, it's when it all goes wrong you need someone you can trust. have no reason not to trust them just saying be careful with picking insurers based on price or recommendations from people who haven't had to "use" there insurance company yet

Allied Insurance Services. Came across these at Carpex / Windex a few years ago: -

Not had to claim so can't comment on that aspect, everything else though, including price, has been great.

Nothing to lose by making the call.

HSBC completely pulled out of all insurance services at the end of last year. Caused us a few problems as AXA wouldn't insure one of our vans (Vivaro Crewvan = Factory fit with 6 seats and they wouldn't touch it).
