Mine was our local golf club - the head chef decided it would be a good idea to sit at his desk in his room and slit his wrists !

The chair he was sitting on was soaked with blood and there was a stain on the carpet the size of a dinner plate !

He lost his bottle after a short while and raised the alarm  :

Mine was a bedroom and stair case I did this morning - some people really are disgustingly filthy.I cant believe how dirty and scrufft some humans are,I used to think that How Clean Is Your House wasn't for real but I now think it must be.

No attempt had been made to tidy anything up before I arrived.The carpet had dog wee stains,dog vomit and god knows what else on i t the kitchen had newspaper on the floor for 2 young puppies to crap on,and to cap it all there was a young child playing around the house.

I really should have walked but as a newbie I need all the cash I can get at the moment

Mine was quite similar , a fat sweaty man in Middlesbrough about 15 years ago. He scratched a scab on his leg , causing a puddle of blood 3 feet across, he had piles of porn lying around his dirty house.
He had serious problems , they were not my problems though , so I wrote a report for the insurance  claim , charged him £80  too.

Worse job ever cleaning up after a guy had placed a shotgun in his mouth then proceded to blow his brains and skull on to the stipple artex ceiling. the smell was not good the other guy working with me spent his time outside in the gutter throwing up. The best bit was he forgot to remove his mask

 I can still picture the room even though the body had been removed 24 hours before we got their

And it took me nearly 3 years to eat pork again the pay was good at the time

Got to be this one for me.
As per pic this was caked onto the carpet in several places in the hall & lounge. Placed was so cluttered and full of crap just like you see on on these cleaning programs when they get the extreme cleaners in and it takes them days to clear.
Thankfully I only did the carpets. Wouldn't mind but it was a middle-aged able body woman who lived there and let it get into the state it was.
Felt sorry for the dog that had to live there.

Sounds like attention seeker ah looks like an Axminster carpet with brown top rather than black top. If I can find the pictures look like skid marks and he didn’t have a dog, charged another one’r for sanitation of machine

We did a job some years ago where a guy had lay dead for two weeks before his family found him. Trouble was his dog was trapped in the house with him and having nothing to eat proceeded to eat him. Before he died he managed to use every sink in the house as a toilet so the place stunk to high heaven. Obviously me being the boss conveniently had some paperwork to do that day

Some years ago when I was reasonably new to the industry I was sent to a house near Heathrow to do the living room.
From the moment I turned up and the door was opened I wanted to throw up. the old lady living there had long since given up taking out the 'adult nappies.' They were in carrier bags all over the place and some were just left on the floor up against the walls. The stench of urine was over powering.
If I'd known better I would have just walked, infact run, but I didn't and just got on with the job.
That is one of only two occassions I have come home from a job stripped off in the kitchen, cloths in the washing machine, said to the wife "don't touch me" and gone straight to the shower.

Indian restaurants always the worst. Toileted carpets are never as bad.

Why bother with them fouled with human or animal excrement
or bodily fluids.
I just walk and tell them insurance pays.
Not fouling all my gear up for any amount.

My  worst one was scene of crime clean for Gwent police where somebody has been stabbed but has walked through out the house several times before the ambulance arrived and blood was everywhere.

2 weeks ago, 1 week undiscovered death, around 4 pints of blood, 8 large bio bags (with numerous small ones inside) nice and beefy!

My daughter came for a hug when I got in, then proceded to run in the opposite direction saying i smelt like a period 

The £200 per hour helped though

A job for a retired male doctor who was utterly crackers, had a lovely house with big gardens. Just kept going on about sex all the time and refured to his ex-wife as "old beef curtains". He had an ham salad for his lunch and washed it down with three cans of carling.


He had been badly influenced by a lad who went to the same school as me, this lad was always in trouble his whole school life. After this doctor had retired he had him round to do some landscaping on his gardens. They soon became mates despite the massive age gap.
