order 3x 1mtr of 40.8 will come in one piece slide on
bottom section then heat gun or even a kettle will
make it shrink to pole

I,ll start wiping me harris pole under me arms when i get a bit sweaty then

Get a roll of vinyl and wrap the bottom section if thats a problem or be a man like me and have grey hands. Makes you look like youve done a proper days work. 

The grey is aluminium which wears off onto your hands.  This has been linked to Althzeimers desease in later life, so beware

i think i used a gey ali pole in my earlier days but i cant remember

Can you give a link for the heatshrink?  They seem to only do38.1mm or  50.8mm?  Am I looking at the wrong one?
