Harris £15. Takes about 5 mins to make. Saw the bottom off so hose can get through, make a whole up the top, and heat the plastic part thats already on it almost to melting poin and screw the brush into to make a new thread...works a treat.

Get a roll of vinyl and wrap the bottom section if thats a problem or be a man like me and have grey hands. Makes you look like youve done a proper days work.  ;D

The grey is aluminium which wears off onto your hands.  This has been linked to Althzeimers desease in later life, so beware >:(

I slip a 28mm lagging I gwt from the pluming shop and then shrink tubing over that. Soft like cushion and keeps hands warm on Harris poles.

Aluminum is toxic so prolonged exposure to it as in absorbing it through your skin on a daily basis is not to be recommended IMO. I believe it is linked to other disease conditions and just because a "Scientific" link has not yet been established with alzheimers does not mean there is no connection.

I agree that it makes sense not to get aluminium powder on your hands more than you have to; however, to do this based on a supposed link to Alzheimers is foolish.

Remember, just because a "Scientific" link has not yet been established between water on the hands and alzheimers does not mean there is no connection.  Best avoid getting your hands wet from now on.

I have no disagreement whatsoever with the statement that Aluminium is toxic.  I'm just pointing out that there is no evidence at all linking it to Alzheimers.
