hi there,

there seems to be a glut of how do we do tender questions on here at the present time.

i am starting to think that there is a businerss opportunity here to provide a consultancy service regarding tendering.

how do you write tenders.

when you get the tender document, it will usually define the way in which you reply to the tender, and therefore how you write the tender isnt as important as the content you put into it.

you say you want to keep it simple,  however by the nature of the beast the tender process and the information that is required is not simple even for the most simplest of service requirements.

I’m starting to think that there is about to be another self help book called "How to Get Cleaning Tenders" appear on Ebay real soon!!! Probably by the same author as "How to make money on Ebay with self help books!

Everyone seems normal untill you get to know them!

hi there dp

the weird thing is, is that therere are plenty of companioes out there, that are in the business of supplying tender info to companies all over the world.

and for some strange reason there seems to be a deluge on here of why, when and how.

at the end of the day, tenders and new contracts, are just the same as winning any new business,

martket your business to the market place, focus on the service you want to provide,.

I agree but there are a myriad of things people need to have in place to even be considered for these type of contracts

Turnover (must be high enough)
Technical Capability
Quality Management(ISO)
Data Protection Registration
Formal structures etc
A great deal of research is needed or an awful lot of time can be wasted

Applying for these is a world away from the private sector

i totally agree, and if you lookat it, the reason they want this type of pre qualification to weed out the companies that arent in the market for this type of work.

its cruel, but its business.

as you grow your business, the info and qualifaication for the pre qual develops itself as part of your business, and then you are ready to channel efforts into those types of contracts.
