hi  richard

going knocking on 4 months started building up weekends while in ft work then gave that up a month ago - taken partime job 20hours and continuing to build round  - i forget how many customers got now but i reckon by end of year be full time.

have to say loving it - apart from my everyday pole at the mo - as fixing it weekly at the clamp sleeve which keeps coming unglued (use that epoxy stuff from pure freedom)

Coming back to the OP bungalows are top earners and always canvass for bungalows although the sucess rate is low.
Standard charge for a bungalow £10, time to do it 10 minutes. Go figure.

I agree Vince, one estate i work on i started with one customer but over the last 18 months i have picked up another 10 all close by, the oldies like to watch you behind their curtains for a while to make sure youre doing a good job before they ask you to do theirs!

Mark, get to b &q and get a Harris pole i swear by them £15 and youre sorted! look on you tube to see how to convert one theyre very good

i got one but going to convert it as they are quite light and rigid - its 5 mtr and has plastic screw up clamps - think it was bnq 15quid

thanks mate - will look up re converting it.
