In my reply I tried to offer a sensible answer that could have led on to a debate of sorts, but the last 3 replies prior to this one were utterly useless, and from a moderators viewpoint they are a perfect example of replies that get instantly deleted if and when I come across them.
On a similar thread someone mentioned an example of what they thought was a silly question; that being: "Is it raining where you are today?" Or something along those lines.
On the surface it's easy to agree, it does sound a silly question, but the forum isn't just about the sharing of knowledge, of helping newbies out or of solving a problem that a forum member is struggling with, it's also about the sharing of experiences, of finding out that you are not the only window cleaner feeling worried about not being able to work because of the weather...
So asking about the rain and finding that window cleaners the length and breadth of the country also feel as you do...and not forgetting there will be replies that help put your fears into perspective....Not such a silly question at all.
Sometimes getting the phrasing of a question right, that conveys what you really mean isn't always easy.
