Just wrap some copper cable around your leg and then put the other end round a spike in the ground soft lad!! or stay at home till it stops around here thunder and lightning dont last long  ;D
Im not scared of heights, just falling from them.

im no expert but i would think the last thing you want to do in thunder and lightning is hold a pole in the air. i remember from school science lessons that anything can be conductive to electricity! some materials more than others thats all.

had 2 big gutter cleanes today, worked right through the thunder and lightening and i got wet, not just any old wet, i mean so wet when i finished i had 2 inch of water on the van floor in the foot wel all done by 3, i was in the sauna by 4, rocking, its a hard life.
Was nice watching it though, its by far not the first time iv been caught in them.

onwards and upwards
better than all the rest
