I just called a customer to let them know I would be down Saturday morning to clean thier windows (about a 2 hour job) only to be told it's not convenient becuase they have a sleep in on a Saturday.  What would your response be to that please??

thats one of the down sides to phoning ahead - get crappy excuses!

if they want some work done then tough! you are coming on xxx date!

Well I though that but then I started to wonder if I'm maybe being unreasonable.  It's a big job and I have atight schedule on Saturday.

can't you swap and do them at 12 noon and if they don't agree then they are just making excuses

can you offer to arrive at say 10am then do some others before hand

Yeah I probably could, he just caught be off guard I guess, it's the first time it's happened. 

I've had people say they are out etc but that's fine, not a problem, as long as I have access to the property.
