2nd di vessel, help required!!
« on: August 18, 2010, 08:26:19 pm »
hello all.
i have 2 brodes 250di machines, i want to put a larger or just the same size 2nd di vessel in each van (2)
thing is brodex machines are fitted with their own fittings clamps, ect, also a normal tap fittinf on the lid of the di vessel wont fit on the brodex lid as its a push fit from brodex, i was thinking of tampering with just the outlet side and maybe run it off to a di vessel which i could buy with the tap connectors on the lid, any ides.

no joke.
anyone who can solve this problem for me i will send a chq for 30 quid, lol, and i mean that, any takers???

the hose coming from the maching to the lid of the di vessel is not half inch or 6mm its just their own hose.

hope that makes sence.

see this link at the time stated for an idea thanks

all you would need is two 8mm to 13mm barbed connectors

ok on the outlet side of your brodex di cut the hose and insert the 8mm barb into the hose, then take a I/2 inch hose and shove it on the other end of the barb, then stick the 1/2 inch hose onto the 2nd di.

then repeat on the outlet side of the new di only going from 1/2 inch to 8mm

ok I have an even easier solution phone brodex them what you are planning and buy the second di from them complete with all connectors required dead easy.

Leights,

On your you tube video at the end you talk about about a valve with black hosing running to it that you say you have modified, and there is 'more than meets the eye'  to it 'otherwise anyone could knock them up'

You then say you will go into more detail in the next video you do, so i'm just wondering what the mods were with it as i'm not sure what it was for ???

keep existing connectors to the brodex system  slice 6inches off the connection and fit a hose lock connection to it then connect to a di vessel that will solve ya problem mate

you cant do that mate as brodex fitting to the machine and the di unit on the other end are the same size, hozelocks or any other fitting dont fit on to the pipe between the di and the machine, also the lid of the di unit is not a male or female you could modify its a brodex connection,(push fittings)

hi matt, yes i did mention it in the video, iv now come up with a even better idea for water flow, the one in the video had a nikkle plated pipe under the pole hose so it wont dirty the water as my machine purifys on the way out. also most peoplethought thats easy, its not, as you get so many leaks by just putting the pole hose through the valve, i still use that one,but the next one i got coming togeather is awsome, its a tap but iv modified it to work on a belt, i will show the video when all is done thanks
